CompareFirst: Compare Price SG

Prix is the first app that we have made and published in the Google Play Store. After spending about more than a month trying to make it, we finally made it! Even though this app is called CompareFirst, we found out that there is also an insurance comparison website that is made by the Singapore government. However, our app is not about comparing the prices of insurance but comparing the prices across different shopping websites. Do try not to mistake our app for insurance comparison. The following is the description of the app. If you like the app, do support it by spending more time on it!

This is online shopping, rethinked. Just enter your search term once to search all your favorite websites. Supported websites include Aliexpress, Lazada, Ebay, Amazon, Carousell, Qoo10 & more.

Save time from opening new tabs and repeating your searches. We do all that for you. Make bookmarks and compare products from any supported website. Bookmarked products show up all in one screen, making price comparison easy. Purchases are handled by the original website so transactions are seamless.

Supercharge your shopping by making yourself an informed consumer. Only make your purchase after you're sure that you have gotten the best price.

Even better, Prix contains zero irritating popups or notifications. Non-intrusive advertisements are present to fund the development of this app. Take control of your shopping and shop only when you want to. Currently, Singapore is the only officially supported region in Prix. More shopping websites will be added in time as we expand to other regions.

Here at DanbooruWorks, we have always thought about how are we going to supplement our income so that we can start retiring earlier and do the things that we like to do. Simple things such as not having to eat Maggie noodles for a few days or skimp on other meals just to have that $15 worth of "better food". We think that if we are able to earn sufficiently high passive income, we will be able to do what we enjoy doing. However, there is usually no free lunch in the world. Hence, we read up about ways and it seemed that long term investment in exchange traded funds (ETF) seemed to be a low cost and low enough risk for us in the long term to provide us with sufficient income in the future. Currently, we are buying only 3 ETFs to cut down on our cost and we do hope that this will help us in life in the future when we decide to try something new.

These ETFs helps us to gain exposure to both the world developed market as well as the stocks that are based on the location where we are stationed at.

*DISCLAIMER*
We do not advocate the buying of these ETFs. We merely shared what we are buying and will not be held responsible if there is any loss incur due to the investment of these ETFs. If you want to buy these ETFs, please do a thorough research to ensure that it fits your financial appetite.

The 3 ETF that we buy are:

How DanbooruWorks Started

DanbooruWorks started as an individual project where the founder decided to make new apps to help improve his productivity. However, he realized that those apps do not have the potential to reach out to the masses and it is mostly for his own use. Then, more ideas started forming where he shot many different ideas with his friends and many were shot down due to the lack of money or it is too large scale. Hence, he started making price comparison apps as it will not only help to make his life easier for online shopping, but he also hope that online shopping will be less of a hassle to other people.

Since then, the team started to grow slowly so that things can be moved faster but as usual, life is full of ups and downs. With other commitments in life, it is hard to push on with the goal of making new apps and adding new features. However, we will continue to press forward and work towards our goal.
